Came on a Friday night to celebrate a bridal shower/birthday and tried several new items that were delicious but customer service was lacking. Some of our food and drink items were completely forgotten. Wait time wasn’t too bad, about 30 minutes, and reservations can be made online which is a plus. Had the Baja Tacos, Louisiana Chicken Pasta, Meatloaf, Buffalo Blasts & Sweet Tamale Corn Cakes. The portion sizes are very large—enough to feed 4 people easily. The Tamale Cakes and Louisiana Pasta were my faves. The tamale cakes had a little kick and the cake base was moist and fluffy. Louisiana Pasta with bowtie noodles and fried chicken breast were seasoned to absolute perfection. It was SO good! Overall pleasant dining experience!

Pros: our server Taliyah did a good job and was friendly. Fried zucchini came out quick and was good. The bread was hot and fresh. Cons: my Steak Dianne was super dry and overcooked. They recooked it but by that point we’d been there nearly two hours and were tired. I don’t complain to get freebies but I was shocked at the lack of quality control going out of the kitchen or any attempt to win me over as a guest (and a CAKE shareholder).

Nice atmosphere, could see it as a "fancy" place for business meetings for those who want the veneer of fancy. The food, drinks, and cheesecake are honestly pretty ordinary in taste. The server was very good at remembering everyone's orders and specifications, but the kitchen was not. A meatless vegetarian spaghetti came out with meatballs. They offered to make it again, but if you were going meatless for the sake of animals, the damage is already done. To be fair the place was slammed, but if customization matters to you then this place is almost always slammed, and so they will always have the higher chance to be unable to accommodate orders, especially because of the time it takes for the food to come out with so many customers. For the price of the specialty drinks, since the bar has to make them, I wish I could customize my sweetness level. Even most boba shops can do so at the same price with less of a wait, and I thought my drink was way too sweet. I'm not sure how the bar works in relation to the kitchen, but it took 20 or so minutes for a yuzu lemonade. With a place with so much of an odd emphasis on calorie count and high prices, you should be able to customize the sweetn

Customer Service was a little lacking. Never did we get checked on to even refill our drinks. Food was good to great. Appetizers macaroni balls were absolutely delicious. Shrimp was delicious. The white pasta was incredible. My caesar salad was just okay... to much vinegar or lemon. My chicken spaghetti meal was good but only for the moment as once I finished and took it home, I had no desire to eat again. Was a decent experience. Atmosphere was so amazing. We were placed by the window and it was a great relaxing view.
